Purchased some pork butts and grabbed the #10 bag of pork seasoning out of my shipment of seasonings that I ordered and made sausage links. Mild but great flavor. I couldn't ask for anything better EXCEPT for the remaining seasonings I purchased. They are next and would expect the same results.
We love this seasoning blend. we don't make sausage with it. we just sprinkle it on pork chops and grill ! Delicious and so easy.
Just fried up my test patties to get a feel of the taste, and its just what I was looking for. Just enough spice that stacks as you chew, but still allows the pork flavor to come through. Perfect mild flavor for kids and wives that don't like heavy spice. I'll add some crushed red pepper to a few pounds to save for myself. But, the best part of this experience, was opening my package and finding my receipt with a scripture printed on it, that was exactly what I needed to hear that day! I have been using this product, which I use to purchase from my local grocery store, which has since stopped carrying this product so I continue to order with Butcher Supply. I have used this every year making deer sausage and mix in some regular pork sausage for binding and extra flavor, makes a wonderful flavorful sausage and you always spice up for heat or sage as desired.
