Our edible collagen casings are made from beef membrane, and are of exceptional quality. Each casing comes in a 50 feet strand and is very easy to use. Just cut off the portion you wish to use, slide it onto your stuffing tube, and pack and twist. It's that simple! The casing itself has a "tender bite" to it once cooked. These casings are to be packed with uncooked product, but are designed to withstand the heat of a smokehouse for cooking. To gauge what size casing you might need, just remember that 1" = 25.4 mm.

Easy to use good product
I'm fairly new to using edible casings at our butcher shop, but so far I have had a great experience with the 30MM casings. They are ready to use right out of the package and are super easy to use, don't require cold storage, and have a good shelf life.
