They have a shelf life of 5 to 7 years if kept refrigerated! For use, just soak casings in warm water for 1 hour. Rinse thoroughly to remove all the salt / brine solution to prevent a sour taste of product. Run warm water through the actual casing. Slide onto a stuffing tube of your choice, and you are ready to go! Fire up the grill! (packaging has changed)
